play non-subtitled movie with vobsub on

Im running win2k and windows media player 7.1 -- I've created a dual audio divx file and would like to be able to switch between audio 1 and 2. Is there a way to load vobsub without having to make a subtitle file? i.e. if i play a divx movie without subs , vobsub will autoload and that way i can switch audio on the fly thru the taskbar.

I'm not sure, but this option must be present in Settings (VobSub Configure), look for something like "Load filter - always / never / only if needid..." and set to always.
At least DivXG400 filter have this option.
