How do I add subtitles with wme9?

Hi all,

I've been playing with anime encoding with wme9 and am appreciating the results in it. Now I want to add some subtitles directly to the video stream but can't seem to figure out how to do this or if it's even possible.

Can someone point me in the right direction on this?
