vobsub problem, plz help

I am getting the following message when extracting subs from 2 DVDs:

Key NOT found! (possible reasons: unencrypted dvd / locked dvd / vts_0x_x.vob too short)

Any ideas for a fix so i can extract the subs? It happened on 2 new releases I got today, both movies are in the vts_02_*.vob chain. Another one I got as well is working fine.

I just try to solve the same problem. The subtitles on this DVD are "forced" subtitles (as soon as you hear the English original soundtrack, the subs are displayed). The vob chain that contains the movie doesn't seem to contain any subtitles at all and the next vob-chain gives me this error message you quoted.

If you hit the "i've stripped my sources and crossed my fingers" button, it should go ahead and rip it anyways.

In my case, it doesn't help - same error message.

However I don't even think I'd really want the subtitles from the vts_03_0.ifo (the ones that give me the error message) because the movie is in the vts_01_0.ifo vob-chain. But these vob-files don't seem to contain any subtitles at all (and I've also tried the new vobsub.dll that is supposed to detect closed captions, but it didn't work either).
