Making VobSub subtitles from SmartRipper-generated streams

Is there any way to convert SmartRipper-generated subtitles streams (when I rip them into seperate files in stream-processing) to VobSub subtitles?
I bought a naughty DVD with a really screwed-up IFO file which VobSub can't grok, but I can rip the streams out with SmartRipper. I'm just trying to figure out how to handle what I've taken out...

It can do indexing based on program chains. (needs unmodified vob files)

why not stripping the vobs (e.g. with vstrip), then extract the subtitles with the BLIND option? always worked for me so far...

With some dvds there can be problems. But using this new version it should be always correct and accurate.
