Hi all
I'm using XP and I downloaded M$'s WMP9 preview. I'm doing DivX's as per Doom9's DivX5/GKnot guide, with subtitles (made with VobSub, dispayed with DirectVobSub DirectShow filter).
The player shows the subs just fine when the idx and rar files are in the same directory as the avi file, and doesn't show them when they're not.
However, I cannot turn them on/off from inside WMP's menu (PLAY->Captions&Subtitles). It means I need to copy them to/from the avi folder. Extremely inconvenient. I just started working with subs, so I have no idea how it was with older WMP's or how it should be.
