Newbie question - please help

Is it at all possible to simply convert a demuxed .sub file (from smartripper or dvd decryptor) to .son file for DVD Maestro (that would just be too easy!...)

I just cant get SubRip to work properly. I followed the directions in guides completely, but when I save the file (SubRip1.033) I jsut get an 87 KB .son (and it is obvious that the file shas to be SEVERAL megabytes in the least). Am I doing somehting completely wrong?

I use BMP extraction, and open the ifo fiel and check off the main movie vob files. SubRip goes through the subs for a while (over a 1000 of them), but will simply not save them at the end when I shoose save as.

the son file is a few Ks 200 at most. It is the bmps that are saved somewhere that contain the stuff u want. Be extremmly carefull where u saved all 1000 of them and the code u gave them when asked.

Subrip asks u where to store sub bmps. U'd better make a new folder and give as code somthing like 'sb_' this way u'll end up with a bunch of bmps all named sb_0001 to sb_01000, lets assume, and a son file that controls the placement and color of them.
