As title, I can create the son file for maestro and
import the file, I can author the streams but when
I play back the movie the subs lose sync the further
the movie plays.

(Movie stream has been reencoded and pulldown.exe
used as it's a ntsc source)

I set the framrate and checked the dropframe box
under the maestro tab in subrip 1.033

This program is superb, now if I can just get this problem sorted !

Any ideas or can you see anything wrong with this son header
that needs changing ?

st_format 2
Display_Start non_forced
TV_Type NTSC
Tape_Type DROP

TIA

what version of pulldown.exe did you use?

I reviewed the documentation this weekend and found that I was using the wrong version of pulldown. I had .99c and I needed the .99d for the -drop_fram flag to be properly set.

However, I found this out after using the following solution with good results. I used the adjust timecode feature of subripper. Here's the catch though. You can't use the timecode from powerdvd, cause it's wrong. If you have preview in Maestro, you can eyeball the position of the last subtitle, and grab the timecode there. Then adjust it accordingly in subripper. I did Amelie and it worked like a charm!

Good luck!
