I need a little help. I want to create a subtitle track for a DVD, one that I can import into Apple's DVD Studio Pro? There are several things I want to do that the included Subtitle editor can't seem to do. At times I want to have subtitles that overlap in the time frame (when two people are talking at once), subtitles in various positions (at the bottom for dialogue, elsewhere for signs and such), and if possible two different color subtitles (if two people are speaking at once I'd give each their own color).
Does anyone know of such a program for the PC?
Also, can anyone tell me more about the structure of DVD subtitles? As I understand it, it's either a series of picture files that are superimposed at certain points, or possibly a separate video file that only contains four colors (the Ghostbusters DVD would suggest the latter).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
