Vob-Sub freshman questions

i´ve installed vobsub for the first time half an hour ago,
and i´m not able to configure the subs under the 16/9 moviepicture
at the black bars...I´ve tried all buttons at the scroll down menu,
nothing happend...

in addition i was wondering why under divxg400 the same vobsub doesn´t
load, though it´s mentioned in the help-file that divxg400 supports
vobsub files...

Well if your files are in idx/sub format you can't change the Looks of them.. because they are sub images outta the vob files.. they look the same as they would be on your DVD player.. Also why DivxG400 can't load the VobSub subs is because it don't support the newer version of the subs.. it only support VobSub v6 file format not v7.. they used to be idx/ifo/sub now you only need idx/sub. But if you wish to change the font's you can use SubResync and save them as a text format like srt or ssa using semi-ocr and then you can change the looks of them all you want..
