Hi,
I know it's a post about that, but it didn't answer my question, (or I did not read good enough:( )...
I installed all the newest directshow codec :
directvobsub (vobsub 2.14), direct show ogg vorbis filter and direct show subtitle filter collection.....
I used them all cos certain of my divx are in 2 files (*.avi and *.srt) and others with *srt in *.ogm file with zoomplayer.
When I deinstall one of the codec (except ogg vorbis of course) I can play the movie WITH subtitles with the other one (and vice versa) (Am I clear hmmmmmmmm :scared: ). Don't tell me that the only solution is to deinstall and reinstall, and not that i must wait to a newer version of zoomplayer (2.70 will be able to give the priority to ogg or vosub subtitles if I red good in the inmatrix forum...)
So thank you....

I do know the DirectVobSub can playback muxed srt files inside a ogm file. So you only need DirectVobSub and OGG filters installed if you want.. But i don't know if the Subtitle Filters can play external srt files or not.. but it sounds like it can by your post.. So i guess you can choose which ever one you want to have installed..

hi,
i tried both, it seems (red in many posts) that having too many filters is not so good.....
So with directvobsub I can play external sub (*.srt) but not mixed sub (*.ogm). With directshow subtitle (the one from ogg) i can play mixed subtitle but not the external one....when I have both installed I can't play external one (directvobsub is playing "forced")....Any idea?
thanks...

No with version DirectVobSub 2.14 you can play subtitles that are inside ogm files.. you don't need the Subtitler Filter installed at all.. Well unless you need to mux a srt file into an ogm since Dvobsub don't have a subtitle muxer for ogms .. only for avi's and ssa.

okidoki,
i mux with oggmuxer so I should see the subtitlte without subtitlte mixer, but i don't....I'll try yo deinstall all the filter and install only directvobsub and oog vorbis audio....

so,
I have longer movies (about 3 h) encoded in ogm format and shorter movie encoded in avi (with mp3 vbr at high bitrate). So I can see each subtitle in srt format or directly in avi with vobsub 2.16 and directshowfilter 0.9.xx. But I think in the ogm format when using zoomplayer (latest beta) this software loads vobsub. Italic and bold subtiltes doesn't show right( html tags /i /b /u).
How can I manally shut down vobsub or is there another way to have this subtitles right?
thnaks
