It's duty to post announcements etc. on the best DVD site ever :-)

Currently i'm working on better recognizing of space characters in italic line and adding some grammar/OCR corrections you post in this forum.

zuggy,

Keep up the good work. :)

I posted some suggestions to Gabest about more friendly OCR to his subresync, if you have time it will be nice to see you put it in subrip. Go here and take a look.

Hello

I have one sugestion. To remember last bold/italic/underline settings. It's very irritating, when you have to check italic box every letter.

kxy, yes, your "More friendly OCR" article was the source i wrote above. It will be user configurable too.

mrSHADOW, first time i made it as you want - with not changed checkboxes. But by recognizing, when i often forgot to reset the style, as normal char appear, i decided, it's better to set style each new character then forget to clear style after e.g. 10 italic chars. As a little speed-up you can use key shortcuts ctrl+b, ctrl+i, ctrl+u to set/reset style (like in Word...). I will make it configurable in next version.

Hi zuggy,

Can you add into Subrip optional positioning (bottom-upper) of individual subtitles (present for SSA, future maybe for SRT-OGM)?

I see, that any DVD subtitles are'nt at bottom of screen (normal position), but at upper of screen!

It's already (long) implemented in own SRT format - check 'extended...' in SRT config window. And it's good idea to add it to MicroDVD (up/down tags) and SSA output.

Mummy Returns as i've seen.

Currently i'm searching for concrete DVD title, that contain subtitles with changed colors, does anyone knows some?

Jubei-Chan (region 1) (any disc) does definitely have changed colours...
There are lots of others (especially anime), but none of which i'm confident enough about to root for now (except for jubei-chan)...
