watch dvd and use mircodvd subs possible?

I have ripped zoolander from dvd to hd, now i found a subtitle in czech that i want to watch it with, is it possible,? and how, the sub is in microdvd format and i usually watch the movie with powerdvd,. any help would be great, thanks

Well, I have never tried this, but microDVD-player is based on WMP 6.4, which can play DVDs if a Video-decoder like PowerDVD is installed. So you can try to use the quick-ini function of microDVD to play the DVD-file and the sub-file together.

Otherwise you could try to convert the subs into something that wmp can display itself. (But I don't know much about subs in WMP, just check doom9's site)

if you want play dvd with external sub, try dvdsubber.....

i don't remind if it support MicroDVD format, but support SSA and srt etc....

you need mpeg2 dsf installed (like powerDVD or winDVD) but the player work fine.

perhaps hard to understand how use it , but....

Can you tell how to configure DVDSubber to play dvd with external subtitles. I have tried but couldn't not find how to.
