I have a movie that I would like subtitles in. When I did the divx encode I selected VobSub files in Avisynth, but for some reason they didn't burn.
So is there anyway to add them now (permanantly)?
Preferable using a program that came with Gordian Knot.

Why not leave it in VobSub format ?

I would be able to watch it, but what if I wanted to take it somewhere else, then it's just one more program a friend would have to load.
If it's hardcoded it's more portable.

you will have to reencoded it to add the subs in.. So you either have to encode it from your sources again or reencode your file and thus making it lower ni quality.. Also with virtualdub or other program try and skim through the movie and see if subtitles appear before you encode it.. Also to make it more portable just burn the DVobSub only installer onto the cd this way it only installs needed files for DVobSub and the user don't have to have everything else installed.

I was worried that might be the case.
I'm not sure what went wrong the first time, I hope it doesn't happen again (I have done this before, and I thought I did everything exactly the same).
