Easy program for subtitles.

Hello,

Anybody knows of any easy ,and i mean really really easy programm for subtitling which can be used with virtualdub ?

I found one called Subtitle Studio ,which seems nice.Anybody knows this one? I seem to have some difficult with that too.Havent played with it much yet but....

subtitling is a pain :p
(but i enjoy myself with :D )
......so there's not really a way to do it easier......

the software i know the most is Sub Station Alpha...it's easy to use, when you know it mouarf :p

else, try SubCreator (lack of function >> more easy, but can export to SSA)

Isnt it easier to use a player that can disply the subtitles in text or in ssa ?

I dont really care about quality right now, just ease of use

directvobsub can play SSA perfectly, so after that, it's a question of needs (how you want play it, what sort of effects would you have,how complex is the sub file, etc...)
