Missing first sub with Ogg subtitler...

Hi, I've muxed a XviD file with Vorbis audio and Ogg subtitles (srt format). It seems that the very first sentence/sub that should appear is missing, but the second one onwards display properly. I have this problem with 2 of my Ogg files. Anyone know the problem and how to fix it? Thanks.

i haven't tried ogg yet but one solution I can think of is this:
open the subtitles file (.srt) you have and enter a dummy first sub that will be "eaten" therefore making the 2nd (therefore the original first) appear as well.

I don't know if this will help, maybe it won't and it isnt really solving the problem but the symptom of the problem, but i would give it a try myself.

I suggest this thread should be moved to 'New A/V formats' section, as it seems more to be a problem of how to display the correct subtitles and we have some folks in this section who certainly know how to do it ... what player are you using ?

I myself still dont have a clue about subtitles :D , but as MCF development does touch this subject now it seems i have to get into it soon :D ...
