ogg muxing subtitle problems

ok I have a subrip .srt file it looks like this:

00:00:12,705 --> 00:00:15,196
A brush against the freckles
that I hated oh so much...

A small flicker, that's all,
and then I heave a little sigh.


etc etc etc
When I try to mux this into offmux it says
"Can't render input file c:\blahblah\blahblah\Kenshin.srt!"

Then I have seeking problems.

Also I tried muxing without the srt file and still had seeking problems. Yes I've looked at all the ogg muxing threads, they do not help.

Also when installing oggDS It could not write to a dll in windows system, this is maybe the cause of the problems.

And..is anyone have trouble deleting avi files after they have been viewed once?

5 minutes ago I had the same problem. To solve it, you must rename the dll file that gives you problems with another extension (*.BAK :) ). Then hit retry and you will have it written. Easy!!

Don´t forget to install the subtitle filter (you can download it from Downloads from Doom9).

Hope that with this little help you won´t have more problems.

Do this. Uninstall all the unrelated filters, morgan switch, dvobsub, oggds, etc. (except the core codec).

Now reboot your machine. Login in as admin.

Install oggDS only, now use oggmux, and it should work.

I tried that uninstalled evyerhting. Then installed oggDS0991.exe and tried to mux it didn't render the subtitles.

Then I installed subTitDS.exe, ran the muxer it actually muxed the file without a problem but still no subtitles. I did another one without and compared the file size it was the same.

Still can't see them... what's the deal? what does oggDS0991.exe install and what does subTitDS.exe install?

Okay, one problem at the time. Now we got your mux problem fixed right? You didn't get such a thing saying that "Can't render input file c:\blahblah\blahblah\Kenshin.srt!"

So onto next problem, how are you doing the subtitles? Looks like you are using subrip... Open up the subtitle and make sure the time stamp is right, go to the end, if you anime is 1 hr long, check the end to see if the time stamp is right.

I thought I wonder if those X and Y values corresponded to where I wanted to put the subtitles so I delted them and it plays fine. Got it thanks :)
