I figure this has been asked before but can't find any relevant threads so here goes ..

I have a ~1,400 MB AVI that is about the get broken into 2 separate files. I have created subtitles using NANDub's VobSub plugin, and generated the .ifo, .idx, and .sub files.

Now how does one go about making subs for multi-CD encodes? I'm open to any & all approaches.

Thx.

Easy as pie :D . The (wonderful) Vobsub package Gabest has bestowed upon us has a cutter function. If you installed Vobsub with an entry in the programs menu, you'll see "Vobsub Cutter" listed. If not, you can just open a comman prompt and do something like...

"rundll32 vobsub,Cutter"

Once it opens, load your idx file, and cut from 0 -> end point for disc 1 (listed in Nandub/Vdub etc.). Then repeat using this end point as the starting point for disc 2.

cheers,

foo
