I-Author......and what next?

I am trying to mux subs into an svcd, but with no luck. I have converted an srt into an I-Author script and have managed to sucessfuly mux them using I-Author. However, now I'm left with 3 files; ENCODED_VIDEO_CCE_PAL.EP, ENCODED_VIDEO_CCE_PAL.MPS and ENCODED_VIDEO_CCE_PAL.SDT. Question is, what do I do with these files?? Is there a good I-Author guide around? Havent found it on Doom tho.
