Problem with your crop search algorithm....
448x176 PAL 16:9
User cropping 0 from left, 0 from right, 76 from top, 78 from bottom
If maximum crop is set to 20 to 33, finds solution with AR error of 0.0027
If maximum crop is set to 17,18,19 finds solution with AR error of 0.0031
If maximum crop is set to 10,11,12,13,14,15,16 finds solution with AR error of 0.0019
Is it me, or is that a bit messed up??? Seems to crop all sides by 10 and decide thats the best solution for any maximum crop set to 20 and greater on this movie....

Hi there.. First thx for this fine tool.
Are there any plans to let it build an entire ISO compliant mpeg4 file?
Because currently i have to let it build the audioless xvid_avi, then use aacmachine to transcode the ac3, and afterwards mux the streams together.
Thats only some mouseclicks, but i have to look for the whole process and can#t let it run overnight, and so i cant use the nice job feature..
I don't think it would be that different to add it, because we already create mp3/ogg and mux it, so there would only be one button more, for the other executables.
i am sorry if that was asked before, but i couldn't find something.
gr33tz and keep up the good work

Thought i should finally answer this one.
Yes development is dead and i have no plans to countinue it for now.
A similar program may rise from the current project im working on avs2avi (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=36768).
I just added support for pausing and resuming encodes (currently single pass only) and b-frames to avs2avi. When i get pause and resume to work with xvid 2 pass i will use this as the basis for a new program which will allow background encoding. (No more leaving computers on overnight to encode just leave it running in the backgound and shut your computer down when you want.)

Ok i finally got round to putting the source code up for the last version. Doubt anyone will use it but some people requested it a while back. (i wont work with currrent codecs the xvid config struct will need updating first if anyone wanted to do this and need some help drop me a message).

you mean avs2avi? i tried it several times, not with much luck. also for resuming, it would have to be supported in the gui (wasn't, wen i last tried it..), because i am lazy with comman-lines..
anyway, i am sometimes watching the thread and i am waiting it for me to work. i will give it another try soon.
thx + greetings..

I updated the GUI a few weeks ago so it supports resuming now. Just go to page 8 of that avs2avi thread and you'll find it attached to my post.
