How do I make two lines from PGS subtitles overlap with one another? For example, I want this subtitle line (https://imgur.com/AwW5b8e) to be on top of this one (https://imgur.com/C6VmuJS).

If you want a single epoch (1+2) with the same start and finish time. Combine the images together and adjust the start and end time. Then remove the extra epoch.
If you want epochs (1, then 1+2, then 2), you have to create 3 epochs. Epochs 1, 1+2, and 2. Then adjust the start and end times to display in the correct order.
The epochs never really overlap. It just looks that way.

I don't get what you're saying.

I don't get what you're saying.
First you are double posting things all over the place. Second you asked in this thread how to "overlap" the epochs. In another thread you asked how to "replace".

We really can't help if you can't tell us exactly what you are trying to do. I gave you the instructions on how to "overlap" epochs. If you want to "replace" one with another that's totally different.
When I replace, I use BDSup2Sub. I export the PGS to BDN/XML. This gives me an XML file with all the timings and the associated PNG's. I then simply replace any PNG I want to change. Then I export it back to PGS.
Using just BDSup2Sub by itself is a more manual way of doing it and that's why I wrote a subtitle interface into my Blu-Ray Ripper.
