@Barough that you think but Asd-g's build made from the official source is fine to post here but someone double standard doesn't think that. How about bitching? that word from your educated call me when I was talking about your double standard friend?

@kedautinh12
I'm not sure I understand what your trying to say here..... with bitching so did i ment complaining. If Asd-g's compiles is made from the official/stable source then everything is fine from my point of view. Let's just try and keep all the test versions of this and that out of here.

When you treated double standard with me, that show you don't respect me
I respect you, only I ask about the differences between Avs+ versions, not only for me but for others users also... (https://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?p=1994870#post1994870)

From yesterday the Readme in https://gitlab.com/uvz/AviSynthPlus-Builds show the relevant info. Thanks, even if these builds are slow for me (https://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?p=1994802#post1994802).

so why i must respect you?
Because rule 4 of this forum:

4) Be nice to each other and respect the moderator.

Then please stop these off topic posts.

https://rationalqm.us/eac3to

* Fixed -destpath option when it is the last option on the command line.
* Stopped eac3to from generating the log file twice.
* The new rules for the log file location are:
The -log path is used if present.
If -log is absent then the -destpath path is used if present.
If -log and -destpath are both absent then the current directory is used.
* Removed automatic invocation of thdmerge.exe for technical reasons
(eac3to performs delay correction for AC3 but not for THD, leading to
a misaligned thd+ac3 file when the THD stream has a delay).

https://rationalqm.us/dgdemux/binaries

* Demuxing now observes the playlist in and out times per clip, i.e., per M2TS. This corrects the
handling of some unusually structured disks. hat tip hubblec4
* The -sp option is replaced with the ignore-playlist-times (-ignorepl) option. -ignorepl has the opposite
sense to -sp. When -ignorepl is given, the per-clip in and out times are ignored. If it is absent they are honored.
* The audio chop (-ch) option is removed, as it is now covered by the per-clip in and out times.
* Issues with skip first (-sf) were fixed.
* Fixed a progress string error in DGDemuxGUI.
* The user manual was updated.

Is SoX integrated into MeGUI? The only thing I see is soxfilter.dll in the tools\avs folder but there's no dll file in the new linked binary archive.

Nope, AFAIK megui don't include that filter in any automated avs functions generated by megui.

But, of course, you can use it in any avs script manually created.

There are a old version (2006) in Megui 32 bits but there are a recommended new version (https://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=185189) for 32 and 64 bits

Oh cool. So that means we don't have to use the 32bit version of MeGUI to convert 7.1 audio to 5.1 anymore?

Like I say before the downmix 7.1 -> 5.1 using Sox filter are not still integrated in MeGUI, you need write your script or use the equivalent ffmpeg function (https://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?p=1920201#post1920201)

32bit MeGUI includes soxfilter.dll and used it automatically when converting from 7.1 audio to 5.1. The 64bit version couldn't use soxfilter because there wasn't a 64bit version of soxfilter at the time but I think the code is still there and it just bypasses that step when it can't find the dll (or so it seems from what it says in the log). I would guess that adding a 64bit soxfilter.dll would make it work normally. Sadly I don't have a 7.1 audio file to test at the moment.

Nope, MeGUI 32 use AudioLimiter.dll (without 64 bits version) with the function SoftClipperFromAudX(0.0)

The log say:
# As AudioLimiter.dll is not available, SoftClipperFromAudX() cannot be used

MeGUI not use SoxFilter.dll at all.
Like I say you need add manually that filter to an .avs and use it with MeGUI.

Please use the MeGUI thread for further help.

I'm very curious about this release.

Most of the last many builds have been around 18mb in size, this one is less than 3mb....I'm thinking there maybe a problem.

Yes, a bit strange, I guess we'll find out one way or another.

If there isn't any updates overnight (my time), I will test it for myself, tomorrow.

Cheers.
