I'm trying (so far without luck) to find an .ass editor that works similar to karaoke-specific lyric editors. Meaning that you just paste in all of the lyrics at once, with appropriate line breaks. And then while playing the audio, you mash a key to mark the beginning (and sometimes a different key for the end) of an individual word. Bonus points if it shows timing marks on a timeline and allows you to drag them for fine-tuning, and if it allows you to play the audio at a slow speed in order to make it easier to get the marks in the right place.
Does any of this sound like an editor that you're familiar with?
