Hi guys,

I have some special characters that get replaced by ? when using 1250:Central European or ANSI in other text software for subtitles.

I am using Subtitle Edit 3.5.2 and notepad++. In both of these softwares, only UTF-8 works as it should. I am using win10 x64.

There are some characters that simply aren't part of Cp1250 or other ANSI code pages. Can you post a sample file with the characters you have trouble with?

Managed to solve it by setting my native language as the default one and reverted to english. Seems to work ok now. Ty for the reply.
