Convert BD 2D subtitles to 3D subs?

Hi,

As the title says, I've been searching some way to convert 2D PGS to 3D but couldn't find any.

If if exists, I'd really appreciate if you could lead me to the app that does it or show me the way to do it.

As far as I know, 2D supports teletext-like hearing subs, but 3D doesn't, and if there are any subtitles in a 3D, these are hardsubbed and not softsubbed.
If you wanna hardsub it, then you need to extract them first (which is not usually a big deal, as you can use your favourite ripper and then use the OCR using SE SubtitleEdit to convert them to the format you prefer and then hardsub them to the video).
Of course, they are not hardsubbed normally; for instance, in a Side by Side half resolution left right 3D they are hardsubbed in both left and right sides, slightly moved to the left and to the right (pretending they are a 3D object) so that you will see them unified as a single sub when the TV applies the 3D FX. ;)

That's precisely what I wanted to avoid, as the OCR never is exact and you have to complete it with the tedious task of revising all the subs.

But it seems ther'es no alternative. :angry:
