Hi,
I'm very confused with the complex settings of CCExtractor, I don't find how to select the second teletext subtitle in a TS file, I can only extract the first (for hearing impaired people).
There are similar settings in the input options, advanced input options and decoders tabs, and I don't understand if one has priority over others or if I have to put same things (ID) in all tabs.
In MediaInfo, I see 3 teletext subtitles with the same Menu ID but not the same ID, I don't know what to put in CCExtractor.
It looks like this ;
Text #1
ID : 43 (0x2B)-100
Menu ID : 20204 (0x4EEC)
Format : Teletext
Language : French
Text #2
ID : 43 (0x2B)-888
Menu ID : 20204 (0x4EEC)
Format : Teletext Subtitle
Language : French
Language, more info : For hearing impaired people
Text #3
ID : 43 (0x2B)-889
Menu ID : 20204 (0x4EEC)
Format : Teletext Subtitle
Language : French
I tried several settings, nothing works for the 2nd sub.:(
On my STB, I see 3 subs but one seems empty, the 2 others are ok : 1 for hearing impaired people and the other, which I need ; it has number 89, thus its ID for CCExtractor is probably 43 (0x2B)-889. The one containing subs for hearing impaired people has number 88.
The only way to extract the first stream (which I do not need) is to check "select the stream most likely to contain data" under input options tab and "if the TS contain ..." under advanced input options tab.
If I select other options, whatever PID I type (20204, 43 (0x2B)-889, ...), it fails to extract subs.
Edit : I found ! :)
I had to specify the page 889 and check autodetect teletext in decoders tab (teletext decoder part) and let default settings in other tabs.
I saw the PID during extraction : 4440 (and for page 888, it's 4196), I don't know where do these numbers come from.
Of course, I had to type all this to find the solution
By the way, for Picture based DVB-sup (thus not teletext), I use Subtitle Edit which shows all subtitles streams (if there are more than one) and let select the one needed.
But SE doesn't handle teletext DVB-sup.
