I did successfully burn a 996MB, 997MB, etc. Cue/Bin file with my Lite On 32x10x40 using Nero "burning image" option. I always use 8x speed. I have never try faster speed. It took about 14 min. to burn and since it did burn successfully, why push my luck?

FYI, the last SVCD I did is Iron Monkey using DVD2SVCD. I set the rate at 990, Chinese Audio, with English Permanent Subs. Since the movie is about 1hr. 25min., I was thinking to push it to one 99 min CD. It came very nice. Playback on my SAMPO perfectly.

Hi,

Tried some 90 min Platinum cd-r's. Burned with a LiteOn40x12x... and Nero, no problems.
My dvd player (SEG2000, Raite clone with A2 firmware) plays them fine but with some discs i get blocky results, just the first 2-3 minutes.

Did someone had the same experience?
