Hello, dear all.
As the title said: " How to Join 2 or More SRT files to Create an *.IDX subtitle one?"
My goal is to have 2, 3 or more subtitles in srt format and put all them "together", but into IDX format.
PS: Usually I use Subtitle Edit to convert srt into idx. But, it's possible do it with more than 1 srt subtitle to IDX format using such program?
Thanks for helping.
Best regards.

Joining subtitles is not an easy task, unlike joining video or audio+video files (not that joining the latter is automatically an easy one).
Practically all A/V files start at 0, while virtually no subtitles start at 0. You have to fix the starting time (timecode) of the second and subsequent ones by yourself.
Generally, this issue does not occur in commercial sources, even if the film is split into 2 parts (like Gone with the wind or The ten commandments), their respective subtitles are in synch with their corresponding parts, and joining them is done as movies not as elementary streams.
Once you managed to have them in synch, there are countless tools to transform the text based subtitles (SRT) into graphic ones (PGS) like IDX+SUB or SUP, and converters among them.
PS: Just to be sure, IDX is not a subtitle file, is to SUB what is IFO for VOB, and index.

I'm pretty sure Subtitle Edit can join subtitles. There's an Append function under the Tools menu which seems to let you join them and sync the joined subtitles with a video preview, or there's a Join function which I think just combines (joins) subtitle files without adjusting any times.
And of course as you've already discovered, Subtitle Edit can convert text subtitles to graphic ones such as sub/idx.

The question is whether he wants to append them or put them in parallel into the .idx/.sub format which does allow multiple subtitles.

Convert all srt to individual idx/sub then use VobSubMuxer (http://www.trustfm.net/divx/SoftwareVobsubMuxer.php) to combine the idx/subs into 1 idx/sub

Hello, dear all.
As @turbojet said, we can do it using some methods just like listed below.
1) Convert each srt file into sub/idx using some subtitling programs:
---> http://www.nikse.dk/SubtitleEdit/
---> http://subtitlecreator.sourceforge.net/SubtitleCreatorHomepage.html
---> http://www.trustfm.net/divx/SoftwareTxt2Vobsub.php
2) Mux all these sub/idx files into only one file using VobsubMuxer:
--> http://www.trustfm.net/divx/SoftwareVobsubMuxer.php
Apparently, this method works. Need more testing. Maybe we can do it using other programs and methods too.
PS: to strip languages streams from sub/idx files we can use the program below:
---> http://zuggy.wz.cz/ ( VobSubStrip )
Some more tips and clarifying about the subject are welcome.
Thanks again for your advices here. :D
Best regards.

So sneaker_ger was right, you didn't want any joining but a multiplex.
