Hello. I am trying to do something simple but it is turning out to be frustrationg and I hope someone can help.

I have an AVCHD backup of Defiance with English subs. They were demuxed with TSMuxer Gui as sup format

I am using AVSto DVD to convert the AVCHD to DVD.

Muxman will not recognize the sup file and I can't seem to find a program that will convert it to something that Muxman will recognize.

Can anyone recommend a conversion program that will give me a file that muxman will work with?

Thanks for any help.

Try opening with BDSup2Sub and exporting as "SUP/IFO".

Thanks. I tried this but the resulting sup/ifo is not a supported muxman filetype.

Wait a second. I got 2 files and loaded the wrong one.

It loads OK in muxman with this warning

" Warning Stream 1 has no modes selected"

I'll mux it and try the output.

I'm no expert in this, I found this post:

Maybe it can help.
Did you choose the correct DVD resolution when importing the file into BDSup2Sub? I forgot to mention that.

Thank you. I now have working subs.
2 issues though. The subs are not forced in the final DVD and they are changed to magenta colour from their original white.

Can I correct them back to white colour and set them as forced again?

Thanks for your help.

Select the PALETTE tab in Muxman to adjust the 16 colors of the Color Lookup Table (CLUT) in the IFO file. The four colors for your subtitle's primary, antialias, outline, and background areas are probably mapped to the first two or three colors in the CLUT. The magenta color is probably the first color in the table. Change it to white, then remux. Alternatively, you could use a utility such as DvdSubEdit to change the CLUT in the existing IFO file. Your choice.

Thanks. Is there a way to just get it right the first time when I convert with BDSup2Sub?
