hi
i'm using Windows Media Center to record TV. because it's easy , free ... with a TV guide. but it create WTV file. on HD recording, the possibility to convert to DVRMS fails, even on some SD recording too (i don't know why :( ...).
anyway, i try since YEARS to extract the DVB-T subtitle stream of a WTV file and convert it to SRT. never found a way to do this. same with TS file using an another software. with software can record a TS file with subtitle stream in it and with the ability to exact the subtitle stream and convert it to SRT ?
i tried sometimes ago recording video with home theater from terratec in the TS format, and tried to use project X , but it created wrong subtitles.
i have now a aver media capture HD Card H727, with DVB-T tuner, trying again with WTV. but it fails. by browsing this forum, i found a software called videoredo TVsuite V4, who can maybe convert the subtitle or make them appearing in a video once converted, but is it really working ? because this software is very expensive for something simple i want.
i just want to record DVB-T TV, extract the subtitle stream and creating a MKV video with the subtitle track, so i can watch it on my TV with my popcorn A200.
any idea how to do that ? thanks !
