Hi guys,
I have an AVI movie and I've found few versions of the subtitles on various subtitle sites and they're all out of sync. So I opened it in Aegisub and I started watching the movie from the start, noted the timing of the subtitle and audio and then plugged the difference in Aegisub's "Shift Times" and shift all of the subs from that point onward by the same amount. The subs are then fine for few minutes but they again get out of sync and become too fast again. I again not the difference in timing, and shift again from that point onward but after a while, the subs get out of sync and are too fast.
Why is that?? Is there a way to fix that and why does it happen?
I've tried to play them in various players but the result is the same... it's not the player.
