Could someone please explain how to get MSU Subtitle Remover to work? I tried its settings any which way possible, but it seems to remove absolutely nada; as in nothing at all; as in zilch, zip, niks. Fairly disappointed, I must say. Then again, the result is so bad, I must be doing something wrong, I guess. I use 3.02b beta (the latest); and my subs are pretty clear, like in this still (http://www.mediafire.com/i/?8aob1vl9ybat5m9).
Thanks.

Hi!
Although I have no idea if it works with subs similar to those in your example, if you haven't already done so, read the following carefully (Make sure to scroll all the way through):

^^ I read and followed the manual carefully, of course; I just can't get the filter to recognize any of the subs. The dup process greys out the frames (as documented), but doesn't recognize/mark any subs.

Many moons ago, me too gave a try to that subtitle remover, and me neither managed to make it work. :( Better forget it, IMHO.

Ok, thx. Know of any good alternatives then? I thought this one was supposed to be the best?

Thanks; but that seems only for 'subtracting' existing BD sups, whereas (in my example) I need all kinds of subtitle-like text removed which is not in the subtitles per se.

Apologies for being late :o
I am not aware of other dedicated "subtitle removers", and now that I'm older :) , I think that a functional subtitle remover would not be any better than the "b3st" logo removers, and AFAIK, even the "b3st" logo removers still suck somehow :(
P.S.: Only now I see you're dealing with CJK characters. I was trying to remove hard-coded CJK subs too... Maybe this is the reason that explains it all. http://forum.doom9.org/images/icons/icon3.gif
