Tried using the suprip method. Input was using a sup file from working directory of BD-Rebuilder.

Wanted to convert to srt format so I could create an MKV using the working files from BD-Rebuilder. I opened the sup file in suprip and clicked on the Auto-OCR button and saved file. But all I see when playing the MKV are square boxes where the subtitles should be. What am I doing wrong?

In the "SRT" tab, did you see actual text? You do need to at least get the OCR process started by identifying each reasonably unique character manually before SupRip can OCR the remainder. If so, then something may be off with ANSI/UTF settings in your subtitle decoder.

Auto-OCR doesn't work that well usually. Even when manually correcting text line by line in SUP Rip, it still results in not correcting some of the text in the created srt file. You still have to open notepad and manually correct the errors.
