I need another filter to embed subtitles in my video. Textsub doesn't load it correctly.

Supported Subtitle Formats: VOBsub (.sub/.idx), SubStation Alpha/Advanced SubStation Alpha (.ssa/.ass), SubRip (.srt), MicroDVD (.sub), SAMI (.smi), PowerDivX (.psb), Universal Subtitle Format (.usf), Structured Subtitle Format (.ssf). See [39]

If the subtitles you want to "engrave" on your video are in one of these formats, check the encodings of the text files, I suppose Unicode encoding could give some problems to the filter.

If the format of the subs is not one of the listed ones ... I think you're out of luck, TextSub is the only one of this kind listed in the wiki.
