Hey everyone! I've been a lurker for awhile and just come on here to do some light reading but I have come across a problem and wondering if there was an easy fix.
So I have an .avi or .wmv file and the .srt file. The subtitles work great on the PC, in MPC-HD or VLC. But I just picked up myself a nice HDTV and an xbox360 and watching movies on there is so nice, however I am HUGE fan of subtitles and I was wondering if there was a fast way to make that happen.
Didn't know if it was possible to add the subtitles without re-encoding it. I've done some searching and it looks like there isn't, but I thought I'd come to the best place on the web for this type of question.
I'd love for to embed/mux/add (whatever terminology it is) the subtitles to the avi file so that they would show up on my xbox.
Thanks guys!
