Hi, dear all.
I'm having problems here in my PC.
I don't know why, but I can't open "submux.exe" nor "subresync.exe" components from vobsub on my computer.
When I click them, nothing happen.
I have tried to unnistal and install again. But no results.
My system is Windows XP.
Any help to solve this problem?
Thanks.
Best regards.

Hi!
Try performing a "System Restore" back to the last time things were working properly...

Hello.
I could find other way to solve the problem:
I have been using VobSub for along time and never experienced a single problem. I was also very delighted by the easy tool SubReSync... The fact is that in the past few months SubReSync won't start. I have the latest version of VobSub and everything seems to be working fine except SubReSync and SubMux.
I can't say much more because they don't crash or anything, they simply won't start at all. But...
Last time I installed WinXP I immediately installed VobSub and the mentioned apps worked... I suspect it's either because I have the DirectVobSub filter installed with K-Lite Mega Codec Pack, or because of certain Windows updates... Does anyone have the same problem or maybe knows how to fix this? I already tried SubRip and realised it sucks because it's very inacurate and tiresome for me.
EDIT - Okay, sorry, found the answer 5 min. after posting this, but I'll keep it up for others that may not know abou this. Appearently, the problem is within IE8 beta... Jus uninstall this and use IE6 or 7 and it'll work just fine.

But I think your advice could be nice too! I have tried to unistall IE updates and does it works. If that fails, I'll restore the system as you told me. :P
What does really "impress me": how can a browser like IE could interfere in Vobsub engine??? :C
Thanks for help !!

Hi! I know this is an old thread, but I'm suffering the same issue with IE10, on W7.
Even the fixed ver. doesn't work.
Does anyone know how to fix it?

I'm having the same issue. I even uninstalled IE10 and went back to IE9 (which was working previously) and now it doesn't work with IE9. Probably some file got trashed/updated which is now breaking it. BTW, what's this "fixed version" you're referring to?
[EDIT] Never mind, I found the fix you were talking about. I'll try it and see if I get anywhere. Thanks for mentioning it.
