This is expected behavior for a DVD with a "Play All" title...

Guys,
I reported a major problem in MakeMKV here, and while I wait for mike's response, do you have any idea why this is happening? I mean, why it's only affecting some specific contents?

setarip_old ?If this means you're seeking my input, here it is:
Limit your communication to "Mike" (MakeMKV author) at the thread you previously started at the MakeMKV forum - and abide by his SPECIFIC requests of you to make and email specific dumps to him - and it would be a good idea for you to do this in less than three weeks, if you want the cooperation of Mike and/or others at the MakeMKV forum...

I had some problems creating this log at the time so I could only do this today.
Anyway, the 3:2 aspect-ratio problem seems to be happening in every title I tested so far (I received Jaws (1975) this week and the problem is there again), I wonder if this can be fixed by mike or if it's something that only TSMuxer + MKVToolnix can help me.
It's strange, but I don't remember seeing this bug before.
I'll wait for his response, then.

Mike fixed that problem for JAWS and I detected the issue again, this time for Batman (2 Blu-rays)...
I deleted the post where I said the issue was solved in the 1.7.7 version. Let's wait for his new response. I created a second dump.
Follow the problem here:

I just read on another forum (SlySoft) that their site is down.
Does anyone have any ideas when/if they're coming back online?

Yikes. Looks like the site was suspended?? That seems odd.

Hard to interpret. Does it mean that the MakeMKV site has been "suspended", or does it mean that the accounts of customers and forum members have been "suspended", or does it mean someone has hacked Mike's website?
Time (and emails) will tell...

The irony of it all for me is I was going to register makemkv when I went to the makemkv website yesterday. I hope the website returns, as a linux user it appears to be my best solution, well maybe my only solution other than using a windows virtual machine which I really have no desires to do.
I am new to using blu-ray, I recently bought a drive for my kubuntu pc, a HD media player that supports hd audio and several BD titles from Amazon. Overall I am happy with makmkv and thought I had a good linux solution. I have tried dvdfab for blu-ray and managed to get it working with wine well enough to make a main movie copy but pointing handbrake to the stream directory does not work, using the .mkv file created by makmkv as the source was fast and worked very well on my kubuntu12.04 system. It looks like it will take many hours for dvdfab to creat a .mkv file, with makemkv and a portable hard drive we could be watching a 1080P with hd audio via our media player within a half hour.

Probably either:
(1) they didn't pay their hosting bill
(2) some right's holder contacted the hoster and asked to take it down

Besthosting.ua, the hosting site of On-Line LLC, the hosting company for makemkv.com, lists it as still active.

Unfortunately the issue I reported since July 2012 was not solved until now. Apparently it was fixed, until I tested other titles. This time affected the JFK Blu-ray.

It's a error while converting the extra features into Matroska. They are all converted using a 3:2 Aspect Ratio, instead of 4:3 or 16:9. Which results in such contents being displayed in a wrong manner in Media Player Classic Home Cinema, and other players.
I submitted a new dump, but I wonder if mike or anyone else can really fix or look into this?
This is a major bug/problem, and it's not being treated as such.

MKVToolnix can help to fix that issue. I wonder if such an error occured on some specific discs only.

MKVToolnix can help to fix that issue. I wonder if such an error occured on some specific discs only. Most likely some specific contents (m2ts files) that are refusing to be demuxed properly.
I tested the brazilian (Region A, the same as the US release) Blu-ray from Quo Vadis (1951), and the extra feature with 40 minutes (+1 GB file) is having the same problem. Even using TSMuxer, the problem is still there - the 3:2 AR.
I was going to ask if using this command line would change something in the MKV file, I mean, if it will do some change in lossless mode or if it will degrade the image/audio quality somehow...?

MKVpropedit leaves the video untouched. Only two items in the MKV header are changed.
