For those interested, v1.2.908 of Media Player Classic Home Cinema has this in the release history (http://mpc-hc.sourceforge.net/History.html):
- Support for M2TS presentation graphics streams (only for EVR Custom and VMR9 Renderless)
This is somewhat of a big thing in the HD subtitle realm. As far as I know, this is the first direct support for HD bitmap subtitles in a player.

My own tests have shown this to work, but is quirky. The subs tend to blink on and off, and there may be timing issues. However, it does work, and hopefully it is the first step in wider and more solid support.
