no settings are required. Just drag your file on the player and seek through the file to try to see the sub...

Are you using a subtitle compatible renderer?

this is the right question...is there any filter, third party app (free or commercial) that support .sup in .m2ts?

MPC-HC 1.2.908+ with VMR (renderless) or haali's renderer is the only free option I know of. For commerical players there's Arcsoft TotalMedia Theatre, Corel WinDVD, Cyberlink PowerDVD, and maybe some others.

b66pak,

I may be mistaken, but I had a feeling it may not be possible to render subtitles when also using DXVA acceleration. Perhaps you could try playing your m2ts in MPC with VMR9 both with and without DXVA enabled and see whether it makes a difference.

It should work according to the MPC-HC website (http://mpc-hc.sourceforge.net/DXVASupport.html).

Enable "Auto load subtitles" from the playback menu in options and under the the navagation menu make sure a subtitle stream is selected.
