SUP format (HD) support into matroska?

Does anyone knows if there's any plan to support SUP directly into matroska?
Cause converting SUP to SRT is still very problematic, especially for non-english languages...

Hi,

1. Just convert your SUP files to IDX/SUB (VobSub) by using Subtitle Creator.

2. Now in MKV Muxer GUI add your videofiles+audiofiles+Vobsubs

I assume that MKV will eventually support HD Sup format if it currently supports VOBSUB. Is this a safe assumption or is there some unknown technical reason it won't work?
