I have a movie along with the 11 languages inside the .idx+.sub files but can't change the language. Whatever I do, DirectVobSub displays only English subs although Subresync renders all 11 languages.

I've tried to edit:

# Language index in use
langidx: 0

and to uncomment:

# Francais
id: fr, index: 1
# Decomment next line to activate alternative name in DirectVobSub / Windows Media Player 6.x
# alt: Francais
# Vob/Cell ID: 2, 1 (PTS: 0)

but all I can get are English subtitles.

Hi!

What is your source material - a DVD or something else?

Hi,

I only have .avi + .idx + .sub files, I don't have the source DVDs. However the problem is exactly the same with both of the movies I've tried to reproduce - DirectVobSub always renders the very first stream.

There was a problem with one of the movies because the 'Forced subs' option was ON, but I've changed it to OFF and now I can see the subtitles but as I've said, only the first ones.

You must have, at least, the source dvd. Thread closed
