Assuming subtitle A : Hello, how are you? & subtitle B: I not fine.
If subtitle A appear first, and intersect with B at the middle, subtitle A disappear after B appear for few seconds but B still appear in the screen for few seconds.
A---AB---B
How to create such subtitle in srt format & later convert to SUP for DVD? Thanks

My only solution would be to manually change the timing with notepad after you'd created the srt.

If you step through the file with Aegisub, it will highlight in red the subtitles that overlap. That would help you identify those overlapping subtitles. And you can change the times directly in there as well.
To convert to sup, I believe Subtitle Creator can help you there.

I tried position subtitle A below & B at the top, it worked for A---AB, but not for B because it position itself below when I tried using subtitlecreator to convert srt to sup.

Sub AB

Sub B
The above pictures illustrate what I want to create. The subtitle would stay at their positon without changing. Thanks

Hi!
At the very least, AFTER creating the .SUP file, you can load it into DVD SubEdit and adjust the position of ONLY "Sub B"...
