Ok, so I used to use this program to add subs to my videos. They are japanese (i get my nan in japan to tape them and send them to me) so obviously english subs are nice.

However, recently the version of mediacoder i have been using will not add the subtitles to the video.

INFO of Video:
Input Details:

Overall bit rate : 1964 Kbps

Video

Minimum frame rate : 14.985 fps
Maximum frame rate : 119.880 fps
Original frame rate : 29.970 fps
Colorimetry : 4:2:0
Scan type : Progressive
Stream size : 303 MiB (90%)

Audio
Format : AAC
Format/Info : Advanced Audio Codec
Format version : Version 4
Format profile : LC
Format settings, SBR : No
Duration : 23mn 54s
Bit rate mode : Variable
Bit rate : 185 Kbps
Maximum bit rate : 221 Kbps
Channel(s) : 2 channels
Channel positions : L R
Sampling rate : 48.0 KHz

Now the subtitle file is a .ass type, and has always loaded before but has now stopped loading altogether. Here are my comp specs:

MS Windows Vista SP1
Intel Pentium Duel CPU T2370 @ 1.73GHz
1.0GB RAM
Mobile Intel 965 Express Chipset Family

So, anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

I'm sorry but I guess the Allmighty Rule #6 applies here...

@Slifer

Hi!

In light of the (very likely correct) speculation by "HymnToLife", rather than offering suggestions, I'll limit my post to a question or two:

1) Is your post here about the same video in the thread you created on May 18th at: http://forum.doom9.org/showpost.php?p=1139080&postcount=6?

2) What software and procedures did you use to capture your nan's videotape?

3) (Based on your statements/questions in your May 18th thread) What software and procedures did you use to convert your capture of your nan's videotape to MPEG-4 with Variable Frame Rate video?
