Hi,
I have an avi file and subtitles in VobSub format (*.idx + *.sub).
The problem is, that I can't see the subtitles with VLC or MPlayer.
I can see them only with VSFilter.
After some research I found out, that in the *.idx file the custom colors option is configured to ON.
It seems VLC and MPlayer ignore these option and only VSFilter can use it.
I think VLC and MPlayer try to use the palette option.
I searched the doom9 forums and read many postings about dvd color palette and IFO Files.
In my opinion VLC and MPlayer load the subtitles, but somehow the color palette seems to be screwed up.
Unfortunately I don't have the source DVD to get the IFO file.
Is there some way to correct the color palette in the VobSub files?
I uploaded the subs if someone wants to take a look at them.
