good day to everyone!
I have a new issue driving me nuts,
there simply is no way for me to play
embedded or external srt files with x264 stream avi or mkv.
I am using Vobsub, and i have no problem with any other file.

When I bring up the VobSub configure panel, after ~10 secs the video starts all of a sudden and runs really fast, the subtitles start working.
Then I click ok, no changes made and the playback stops once more.
The subtitles are fine, i used them on another video and they work.
The video by itself is fine too.

Also i used the internal renderer from FFDShow by itself.
This results in the display being correct, although if I embed two in an mkv with a 264 stream, only the first one is displayed.

Anyone got any lifesaver suggestions?
thanks in advance

If you have DirectVobSub installed, you can right click the green arrow icon in the taskbar, and you have options to disable subs, or select which language (set) of subs to display

Do you have Haali media splitter installed?

The lag in playback might be from an older computer (too slow)
