AVI Sync Problem

I have the first & second eps of Star Trek TNG in AVI. It's in German. I wanted to add German subtitles to the AVI file.

AVI file is:
Size: 696,59 MB
FPS: 25
Resolution: 720x576
FourCC: Divx
PAL

I downloaded the SRT file from here:

http://www.subtitles.de/main.php?l=search

You may have to search Star Trek for it to come up.

I am using Subtitle Workshop & even changed the FPS & there still out of sync. Any ideas anyone?

Any ideas anyone?Just extract the subtitles from your DVDs that you used to create the .AVIS...

I don't own the dvds. i downloaded the avi's. Is there a way i can sync the subtitles in subtitle workshop?
