adjust .sup start time

Because of Arcoss, I have had some issues with subtitles being extreamly out of sync, typically over a minute late. I was just wondering if their was any program that I could use to adjust the start time of the subs. I've already tried SubtitleCreator v2.2, the issue is I can delay the subs more, but if I try to use a negative delay with it, I get an unhandled exception error. I doubt its a problem with my pc as I have tried it on other computers just to get the same error, so I was just wondering if there was anything else i could try.

Is there anything else? It only lets me adjust the subs 10 seconds at a time (and i need to adjust it well over a minute), and it takes quite a while to process each time, not to mention that it can only do that after everything is remuxed (not for .sup files), and it even says somewhere in its documents something about it having issues when adjusting tons of subs like that (i think it was something about having issues when the subs start and stop times were to close to each other)

You can try with Subtitle Workskop 4.

Edit -> Timmings -> Set Delay.

To know the good timming, extract subtitles with PgcDemux, open .sup file with DvdSubEdit and watch them.

I've tried looking into that one too, but it doesn't allow me to open up .sup files, so how can i set delay if i can't open it up?

I think this may be due to the fact that you choose a negative delay bigger than the start time of your first subtitle. Then when SC computes the new timings, it finds a negative delay and unfortunately it throws an exception. A way to avoid this is to suppress all the subs that have a start time before the delay you want to substract or you can change their start times.

@manusse I tried looking at that, but the first subtitle doesn't even start untill 00:02:58,494 and I can't even get a negative delay at all. As soon as the delay goes below 0, thats when i get the error.
