Greetings.
A user in the german doom9/Gleitz board (http://forum.gleitz.info/showthread.php?t=36435) tried to force the registration of VSFilter 2.37 and 2.38 into Vista Ultimate x64 (uuh, he has 8 GB RAM!) without success.
ffdshow x64 should have worked, but possibly did not display the subs correctly; we are working on getting detailed error information, hopefully a sample of the subs file. Would ffdshow x64 expect a specific codepage (e.g. UTF-8) in all supported subtitle files, or should it be able to use the default codepage for simple subtitle formats (maybe ANSI CP-1252 for early 8-bit formats like SRT)?
