I used Subtitle Creator to add subtitles to a DVD. I opened the srt file and the subtitles looked about right in the Subtitle Creator window, so I went ahead and converted to sup (all default settings) and went through the process to create a DVD on the hard drive. When I played the DVD on several different software players, the subtitles were completely invisible because they were just off the bottom of screen. I went ahead and used Subtitle Creator to make another sup, this time I raised the subtitles in the "Position Subtitles" setting from 470 (default) to 370. Although the subtitles now looked much too high in the Subtitle Creator window, after processing into a DVD, the subtitles were about right. So, my question is, why does Subtitle Creator make the subtitles way to low? I just have basic software installed (no DirectX or DVD decoder).
