How to fix 2nd color transparency

I want to rip some dvd where color 0 is unused red and color 1 is the transparent one.
That work fine in IDX and subrip, the only problem is I want to use Xsub.
No matter what, Xsub use color 0 for transparancy, any attempt to make graphical subs are producing big red screens.
IDX store the transparancy info, in that case, 1, but XSUB only use 0, my only chance is modify each BMP files in pixel level, I tried a lot of tools but they ALL only move color infos, and not palette order ...

Hi,

You can try with SubtitleCreator (Tools->Manipulate... menu). This will work only with PAL subs because there a timing bug in SubtitleCreator regarding sub/idx NTSC subtitles.

I believe you'll find that DVD SubEdit will allow you to easily manipulate the palette information as you desire...

i tried both, and really, they dont do that, at all, no matter what these 2 tools cannot swap colors.
i can provide IDX, just try them with divxmux, and you will see.

DVDSubEdit accepts only SUP files not SUB/IDX files.
SubtitleCreator can do what you want. However, I don't have time to explain you how.

Ok, same answer, i already read this forum, the DVDsubedit help (really bad outdated guide), tried both tools.
Again, they dont swap real pixels, only color remap, especially SubtitleCreator that even dont have any options that could do that, and yes, I off course use the special IDX/SUP section of this tool.

So, it's time to show me, here come really short subs, if you're so sure of yourself, swap for me the transparency so i could use them in DivXMux without big red fullscreens.

Hi!DVDSubEdit accepts only SUP files not SUB/IDX files.DVD SubEdit allows you to DIRECTLY access the subtitles IN SITU from the actual DVD files...

If you want to physically exchange the colors, this is not possible using SubtitleCreator, you are right.

ninjaw, if what you want to do is exchange two pixel types (for example p -> b and b->p) then you're right DVDSubEdit can't do that for you.
