I'm not sure if this is the right forum - is a subtitle what appears in a menu?

I've got lots of children's programs each about 10 minutes in
length, assembled about a dozen to a DVD with DVDshrink. I'd like
to add a simple menu to skip to any one of them, then continue
playing them in sequence. PgcEdit should be able to do the job,
but I can't find any 'idiot's guide' to menu creation. Is there
one? If not, would someone be willing to sketch the steps
required?

Hi!I've got lots of children's programs each about 10 minutes in length, assembled about a dozen to a DVD with DVDshrink.1) Did you assemble them as Chapters or individual Titles?

2) I'm curious to understand how you originally created this DVD

is a subtitle what appears in a menu?No...

DVDShrink calls them titles. It's what you get with its author mode where you can add various video sections together on one DVD.

Since menus don't use 'subtitles, what is the most appropriate forum for this question?

You can easily create a menu using "TMPGEnc DVD Author".
